Skirt: me made!
Bag: Comme des Garcons x Cambridge Satchel Co. c/o my boyfriend who really wants a feature on the blog. Introducing... Alex!
I didn't make any of these things. Making a men's button down is on my to-do list.
Look at this nice lighting! Fullsteam is an amazing local brewery. And my elastic-waist lilly skirt has finally shown up to the MMM photo party.

top: me made
blazer: laundry by shelli segal
Last day! And I'm out with a whimper. I had plans for making a new top, but everything got in the way. I started a new job this week and took a final today, so that's my excuse.
WHAT I LEARNED in my FIRST EVER ME MADE MAY
1. do not take it lightly!
2. probably don't sign up to wear me mades every day
3. especially when you are also taking an intense three week course that involves a lot of statistics
3. and writing a paper
4. and starting a new job
5. and its raining every day
6. also, I hate taking pictures.
7. BUT I do have a lot of wearable items.
As for my goals, I wore all but one item of seasonally appropriate clothing! I wore me mades on every day that I wore real clothes. That isn't the same as what I pledged, but I didn't realize how many days I never put on real clothes. As a student with, until recently, a part-time job, I spend a lot of time in that college campus uniform of nike running shorts and sorority tee shirt. Oops.
The gaps in my me-mades wardrobes: pants, of which I have made none, and tops, of which I have two, but both are white. Comfortable lounge clothes-- leggings? jeggings? treggings? renfrews? Knits in general?
Thanks for bearing with me this month!
